【Trekking & View】 Koganezaki Cape(Shizuoka pref.)
The rock, which shines golden in the setting sun and resembles a "horse's head," is also known as "Horse Rock" and is said to be a "spot for praying for victory in horse racing."
This shine is apparently due to a mineral called "propylite," which is formed when weathered "andesite" is altered by "hot water" that springs from nearby. (Nihedon @ KesaranPasaran Lab)
