Sea of clouds over Mount Gassan (Aomori pref.)
This time, I'll be introducing Mount Gassan in Yamagata Prefecture, which I climbed in September 2016.
Mount Gassan means "Moon Mountain." That alone sounds incredibly mystical, doesn't it?
And above all, the sea of ??clouds is absolutely spectacular! (Nihedon @ KesaranPasaran Lab)

Is this a marker for the mountaintop?
I finally arrived ,it took more than 3 hours.
I discovered a shrine at the mountaintop. Actually, I found a very important item there! (I'll report on it later.)
