【Trekking & View】 Trekking around Mt.Takao, Mt.Shiroyama, Mt.Kagenobu, and Mt.Jinba (Tokyo pref.)

This trek is to check if my chronic gout has healed!
I took a route starting from Takaosanguchi Station, going along Trail No. 1 to the summit of Mount Takao, then from there to Mount Jinba via Iccho-daira, Kobotoke-Shiroyama, Kobotoke-toge, Kageyama, and Myoo-toge, and finally descending towards Fujino Station.
If I can successfully complete this trek, I can say that my gout is almost completely cured! (Nihedon @ KesaranPasaran Lab)

★From the Takaosan trailhead to Mt.Kobotoke-Shiroyama★
I started climbing after praying for a complete recovery from gout at Fudoin Temple. (7:13)
Shinpen-do dedicated to En no Ozunu, the founder of mountain worship. I prayed for strong legs.
I ate chilled soba noodles with grated yam at the summit of Mt.Takao. (9:21)
Near Icch?daira: The sky was hazy, so the view wasn't particularly impressive. (10:23)

Mt.Kobotoke-Shiroyama Summit: This place is famous for its "mushroom soup", but l love "motsu stew." (10:48)

Kobotoke Pass: I actually like this desolate feeling. The scenery is starting to become a little more visible.

★After passing Mt.Kageyama, the path starts to resemble a mountain trail.★
Mt.Kagenobu-yama summit: There's even a group enjoying tempura and beer.(12:09)

A very easy mountain trail to walk on!

Myoho Pass: There was still a huge cricket in the toilet. (14:14)

★Mt.Jinba has delicious sherbet.★
Mt.Jinba Summit: I didn't experience any gout attacks! (15:09)

A shop located below the mountaintop!

The coffee is drip-brewed to order, and the sherbet is a local specialty, "yuzu sherbet." Both are superb !

★Descending the mountain really takes a toll on the knees.★
The path continues to be gentle. My feet don't hurt yet ♪ (15:30)

Rest stop along the way: My knees started hurting around here. (16:29)

I finally reached the bus route, but since no bus was coming, I decided to walk to Fujino Station. (17:37)

The scariest part of this course was the approximately 100-meter-long tunnel just before reaching Fujino Station (pictured below). There were no guardrails, even though cars were whizzing by!

Aside from that (except for the knee pain on the descent), it was an enjoyable trek.

It took me about 11 hours from Takaosanguchi Station to Fujisawa Station, but I'm sure most people could do it a few hours faster.

Anyway, I'm glad to realize my gout has improved enough that I can now do the Takao-Jinba trek without overexerting myself!

And we arrived at Fujino Station ! (18:09)

ACCESS :

It's a 5-minute walk from Takao-san-guchi Station to the trailhead of Mt.Takao.
