【Yokai & Mystery】 Hanazono inari-jinja shrine(Tokyo pref.)
There is a shrine built by the monk Tenkai in Ueno(present-day Ueno Park) to appease the foxes that were driven out of their homes when Kan'ei-ji Temple was built there.
Apparently, some of the foxes were mischievous and tricky to deceive people.
These same foxes are now revered as deities who preside over romantic success and business success.
